On behalf of the members of the newly founded European Underground Hydrogen Storage Alliance “H2eart for Europe”, we are pleased to invite you to our official launch event taking place in Brussels on January 23rd, 2024.

“H2eart for Europe” is a high-level, CEO-led alliance striving towards a unified vision of future EU decarbonized energy systems and the importance of H2 storage in contributing to EU climate targets.

The alliance, currently composed of 11 major European Storage System Operators, is continuously growing and aims to demonstrate Europe’s need for H2 storage as a key decarbonization enabler.

The event in Brussels will feature a keynote speech by Commissioner Maroš Šefčovič and be attended by C-suite representatives of alliance members. In the presence of media representatives, policy-makers and leading industrial actors from across the entire hydrogen value chain will exchange on existing challenges & innovative solutions.

At a Glance

• 75% have increased their digital and IT budgets since 2019
• 85% expect digital and IT budgets to increase in 2024
• 68% are increasing budgets to enhance patient and provider satisfaction
• 55% say cybersecurity is their top investment priority

Guidehouse analyzed a survey conducted by the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA) from August – September 2023 to understand top digital and IT investment priorities at U.S. hospitals and health systems for 2024. The survey included 144 provider executive respondents, the majority of whom were CFOs. Providers cited continued increases in digital and IT spending, primarily to advance cybersecurity and operational efficiency.
